Clinical Services
The multi-disciplinary staff of Dana Group Associates provides a complete
range of individual, group and family interventions for children,
adolescents and adults. We are skilled in providing individual, group,
couple and family therapies, as well as testing and diagnostic evaluations.
We work with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, mood and
personality disorders, school adjustment problems, marital problems,
and life transitions.
Interactive Social Skills Development Groups
Known for our excellent child and adolescent social skills group program,
we offer groups for clients of all ages where life skills are developed
and personal challenges are addressed and resolved. Our groups help
people expand communication and socialization skills, improve self-image
and build self-confidence, exercise greater self-direction and motivation,
learn conflict resolution strategies, and strengthen skills in school,
work and family life.
In addition to our Social Skills Development Groups, Dana Group Associates has introduced two new group programs; Stress Management-for-Teens Group and Children of Divorced Parents Group. Please visit our Group Programs Section for additional information of these new group offerings.
Educational and Assessment Services
Our staff of neuropsychologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social
workers and special educators are experts in the diagnosis and treatment
of learn style differences and attention deficit disorder. We build
a strong foundation with all students through expert evaluation,
teaching, consultation and child advocacy. Our goal is to integrate
a range of services in one location to enhance a child's educational,
developmental and psychological growth.
Ongoing and New:
Dana Group Associates continues to expand its services with clinicians having the necessary expertise, adding to our well known programs to include: Women's
Transitional Groups, Parent Coaching Services, and Educational Advocacy Services. Further, Dana Group has developed relationships with several educational services to provide assistance to parents, seeking additional services based on the educational needs of their children; Abbott Learning Center for Tutoring and Chatterboxes for Speech-Language Therapy.
For more than two years, Dana Group has offered Cogmed, the proven Working Memory Training Program to treat children and adults with impairing Attention Deficit Disorders.
